L.A. Rams

Josh Forrest was the first player to learn his fate.  The only Wildcat drafted went #190 in the 6th Round to Los Angeles.  I thought it was cool that they also picked up a few familiar faces -- Pharoh Cooper of South Carolina and Tyler Higbee of WKU -- but those don't compare to his college teammate, Jordan Swindle.  The offensive tackle was picked up as a free agent by L.A.

New York Giants

Defensive tackle Melvin Lewis will have the chance to bounce back from his leg injury in the Big Apple.  The Giants have been friendly to former Cats in recent years: Jared Lorenzen, Andre Woodson and John Conner to name a few.

Washington Redskins

Longtime Kentucky long snapper Kelly Mason has been invited to the Washington Redskins' rookie mini-camp.

Atlanta Falcons

Junior college defensive tackle Cory "C.J." Johnson signed as a free agent to head south to Atlanta.  He doesn't have the desired measurables, but if you've watched him play at all you know that C.J. is the kind of player that will surprise you.

Miami Dolphins

Defensive end Farrington Huguenin landed a free agent deal in South Florida.  He'll be teamed up with WKU's quarterback and South Florida native, Brandon Doughty.a seventh round selection.
