After six football games, Kentucky is in unfamiliar territory. The Cats are 5-1 and near the top of the SEC East standings. They also are near the top of a few statistical categories.
Josh Allen leads the way for UK. His six sacks are the eighth-most in America and second in the SEC to only Montez Sweat. Allen leads the SEC in tackles for loss with 10.5. He's tied for tenth in America in that category.
As a unit, the defense's goal is to be top five nationally in total defense. They aren't far off from achieving that goal.

On the other side of the football, Benny Snell is eighth in the country in rushing with 699 rushing yards. He was the SEC's leader until the Texas A&M game. He now trails Trayveon Williams by 21 yards. Snell's eight rushing touchdowns are the most in the SEC and good enough to tie for seventh in the nation.
The rest of UK's offensive statistics aren't so pretty.

On special teams, Kentucky's struggles in the field goal department are well-documented, but Max Duffy is getting it done. Duffy is No. 8 in the country with 46.75 yards per punt. A few other notable miscellaneous stats:
