Thanks to the recent eligibility clearance for Wake Forest transfer Olivier Sarr, the 2020-21 Kentucky Wildcats are loaded with top-tier talent from top to bottom. Six incoming freshmen (seven if you count redshirt freshman Dontaie Allen), highlighted by two lottery-hopeful NBA Draft picks in B.J. Boston and Terrence Clarke, are joined by returning sophomore Keion Brooks, Sarr, and two fellow transfers Davion Mintz and Jacob Toppin. With so much talent spread across the roster, Kentucky could have a different "best player" on a game-by-game basis. John Calipari coached teams typically don't need the same player to go out and score 20 points every game. But throughout the length of the full season, who will be the team's Most Valuable Player? Which of these young men have the ability to take over as the team's go-to player down the stretch or when morale is fleeting? Our fearless leader Matt Jones posed the question on Twitter. What do you think? Will it be Boston, Clarke, Sarr, Brooks, or possibly a fifth-option? Cast your vote and let us know in the comments below. https://twitter.com/KySportsRadio/status/1322308524286873601 MVP aside, it seems like a pretty good sign that Kentucky has potentially four different players who could feasibly be the best of the group.
