Who is winning the Battle of Former UK Players?

by:Bryan1301/30/11
With the mass amounts of former UK players currently residing in NBA cities, I thought it would be interesting to see just who is having the most success in games against their college counterparts.  So, I went back and looked at every NBA matchup this season in which a UK player played for both teams on the court.  Just who has had the most success against other UK players, both team and individual: *Stats only include games against other UK players.  For game to have been counted, UK players must have played in the game, not just been on the roster.  1. Patrick Patterson (Rockets): 3-0 Averages: 6.0 ppg, 3.7 rpg, 1.7 apg, 80.0 FG% 2. Rajon Rondo (Celtics): 8-3 Averages: 11.5 ppg, 12.0 apg, 3.1 spg, 50.9 FG% 3. Eric Bledsoe (Clippers): 6-3 Averages: 8.3 ppg, 3.6 apg, 1.0 spg, 38.6 FG%, 24.0 3P% 4. Keith Bogans (Bulls): 9-5 Averages: 3.1 ppg, 1.4 rpg, 40.0 FG%, 37.0 3P% 5. Chuck Hayes (Rockets): 6-4 Averages: 5.5 ppg, 7.2 rpg, 1.0 bpg, 53.5 FG% 6. Jodie Meeks (76ers): 5-4 Averages: 12.6 ppg, 49.3 FG%, 54.8 3P% 7. Nazr Mohammed (Bobcats): 6-6 Averages: 7.7 ppg, 5.3 rpg, 52.6 FG% 8. John Wall (Wizards): 3-4 Averages: 16.7 ppg, 9.0 apg, 2.3 spg, 42.9 FG%, 38.9 3P% 9. Tayshaun Prince (Pistons): 5-8 Averages: 14.9 ppg, 4.4 rpg, 49.4 FG% 10. Demarcus Cousins (Kings): 0-11 Averages: 10.5 ppg, 6.6 rpg, 37.7 FG% (Jamaal Magloire has played in 7 games this season, but none against a UK counterpart.  Kelenna Azubuike and Daniel Orton have not played this season.) That's right.  Demarcus Cousins is 0-11 against former UK players this season.  He will get a shot at Rondo on Tuesday, but won't have another UK-related game until February 25th.  Looks like Big Cuz will have to sit in the UK cellar for a few weeks longer.
