Wildcats Beat the Hilltoppers 1-0

Kentucky took on Western Kentucky at John Cropp Stadium this afternoon in a midweek non-conference game. After nine close innings, the Cats won 1-0.
Although there were not many plays in the game, the Wildcats came out victorious in the ninth inning. Christian Stokes scored the run of the game and added a hit. Maisie Steed and Brooklin Hinz provided the other hits of the game. Defensively, Kelsey Nunley allowed six hits and zero runs.
Kentucky hopes to continue their luck in a three-game series on Friday against Georgia.
