Earlier this week Mark Stoops told reporters of a "change up" to UK's normal travel plans to play Tennessee. "We are doing some things different on Friday, with our schedule and throughout the week. I'll leave it at that," Stoops said. "I have been thinking about it for some time and we are going to have a different change up in our routine on Friday." We now know what he meant. The UK Football team was spotted at the University of the Cumberlands in Willamsburg, Kentucky, a little over an hour north of Knoxville, for a Friday afternoon workout. https://twitter.com/UKFootball/status/1317180693387018240 https://twitter.com/Joseph_Diesel/status/1317174314295316486 “We do have a different change up," Stoops said Monday. "I didn’t like the way we played a couple of years ago driving down there in the bus, long bus ride. It is in that tweener range on whether you fly or get on a charter or drive a bus down there, it is a long bus ride." So Stoops decided to break up the long drive with a practice, and I'll point out that Kentucky is undefeated in Knoxville when stopping for a mid-trip practice in Williamsburg (to my knowledge). The Cats of course kick off at Tennessee tomorrow at noon.
