The Wildcats’ quarterback is teaming up with a Kentucky icon for “A Late One.” Tuesday afternoon Ale-8-One announced a new partnership with Will Levis. The Kentucky gunslinger will represent the tasty Kentucky soda from Winchester.

“We hope this partnership further shines light on his skills on the gridiron and as a modern marketer in the ever-evolving world of college athletics,” shares Kevin Price, Chief Marketing Officer for Ale-8-One. “The fact that Levis has showcased the ability to captivate audiences and is right here in our home state, presented us with a unique opportunity to focus on positive community support and engagement. This exciting partnership will launch this fall with a series of activations across the region.”

If you’ve never had an Ale-8 before, what are you doing? The delicious mix of ginger and citrus was first concocted back in 1902. Once almost exclusively consumed in parts of Central and Eastern Kentucky, you can find Ale-8’s served in signature green bottles across the Commonwealth. In addition to the original, the soft drink also comes in Zero-Sugar, Cherry and Orange Cream flavors.

Few Kentucky student-athletes have made an impact on the NIL marketplace quite like Will Levis. He was the first athlete signed to promote a thoroughbred horse. Speaking of horses, Paul Miller Ford just rolled out an ad of Levis promoting the new Big Bend Ford Bronco. He’s not all in it for himself either. Will Levis has gotten his teammates weekly steak dinners and golf outings.

Even though the Kentucky quarterback has a rather lengthy NIL portfolio, he’s figured out how to properly prioritize his time. It was a lesson he learned from Tim Couch this offseason, someone knows what it’s like to be pulled in a hundred different directions.

“The biggest thing I’ve learned how to do throughout this whole process is just tell people ‘No.’ I think just with this attention, I’m just such a nice guy and it’s hard for me to kind of just tell someone ‘Hey, I got something I gotta focus on today. I don’t feel like taking an hour out of my day to go on your radio show or podcast,’” Will Levis recently told KSR.

“It’s just a matter of making sure that I am allotting is enough time that I need to for what actually matters.”

Right now what actually matters to Will Levis is the Saturday night showdown at Kroger Field between Kentucky and Miami (OH). Kickoff is set for 7 pm EST on ESPN+.
