Following a 2-5 start to his fifth season as the head coach at South Carolina, Muschamp has been relieved of his duties, according to multiple reports. Offensive coordinator, Mike Bobo, is expected to step in for Muschamp to finish out the year. The decision comes on the heels of the Gamecocks shootout loss against the Ole Miss Rebels, 59-42, the team's third consecutive loss. Muschamp finishes his coaching career at USC with an overall record of 28-30. Against Kentucky, he was a notably poor 1-3. https://twitter.com/Mike_Uva/status/1328126547455324160 https://twitter.com/BruceFeldmanCFB/status/1328126716955398144 Prior to his stint down in Columbia, Muschamp spent four seasons at Florida (2011-14) as the head coach, posting a 27-21 record before he was eventually fired and later took a defensive coaching position at Auburn. Despite a solid start to his tenure at South Carolina (22 wins through his first three seasons), a 4-8 record in 2019 and a poor start to 2020 forced the AD's hand. Kentucky's final game of the regular season is a home matchup against South Carolina on Dec. 5. Who wants to make bets on Tennesse hiring Muschamp within the next 18 months?
