wcs-webber Chris Webber went on Mike & Mike last month and blasted Willie Cauley-Stein, saying the Kentucky big man would never start in the NBA. After hearing comparisons of Cauley-Stein to the Clippers' DeAndre Jordan (a fair comparison in my opinion), Webber said there's no chance he could become a Jordan-type player in the league. “Let’s just be honest: If you’re a junior in basketball and seven-feet and average under 10 points, you’re telling me he can be a DeAndre Jordan? There’s no way. Come on,” Webber said. “This kid is like seven-foot and weighs two hundred. He won’t start in the league. You can’t play in the league if you can’t score, people.” We finally got a response from Cauley-Stein today during his interview on KSR. And it was perfect. Willie said, "I'm going to be 200 percent honest with you... I didn't know who Chris Webber was." He said he vaguely remembered a Fab Five player calling a timeout to lose a game for Michigan, but had to be told that player was Chris Webber. But when he first heard Webber's comments, he thought, "Chris Webber who?"
