With weather looming, how much "Wildcat" will we see from the Wildcats?

Joker Phillips has alluded to the fact that Kentucky has put together a "Wildcat package" for one of their quarterbacks. Although Morgan Newton is #2 on the depth chart, true freshman Jalen Whitlow is the likely choice to run the Wildcat option for Kentucky. The rain has started to pour down in the city of Louisville and the forecast shows no signs of the weather letting up as the day carries on. The weather is going to create a sloppy game for both sides, perhaps discouraging either side from throwing the ball around on a consistent basis. The run game, which is always crucial in the UK/UL game, will likely become an ever bigger factor. The Wildcat package was not expected to be a huge part of the game plan heading into the game this afternoon, but now that the field conditions are expected to be so tough, will Jalen Whitlow's impact on the game become greater? The Kentucky/Louisville game was the coming out party for Louisville QB Teddy Bridgewater last season. Could this afternoon provide a chance for Jalen Whitlow to solidify his spot as a significant part of the Kentucky offense? Max Smith will continue to be your starter, but with a good showing today-- Whitlow might encourage the coaching staff to give him more opportunities in the Wildcat package. Just how bad is the weather looking right now at Papa John's Cardinal Stadium? (h/t Kyle Tucker)
