mad_101306_m_obrzut1.jpeg The day has come that we have long waited for. Yes today is the famous Woo Graduation Party here in Louisville. We at the Sports Mob are doing our show from 3-7 pm at Longhead Bar and Grill at 8238 Dixie Highway in Louisville and having Woo on the show for the big graduation shindig. The entire Sports Mob crew will be there for the first time in over six months....Matt Jones, Rob Gidel, Chris Tomlin, the Intern, the Turkey Hunter, Hubby and Chris Mosley will all make an appearance. And most importantly, the Woo will be there to meet and greet the fans. Folks should start showing up around 5 and the party should go through the end of the show and into the early evening. Come on down and say hey to Woo....he wants to meet the fans, and the fans should be ready to meet him..... Its late so a few notes, (1) 5 star 2008 big man Tony Woods has announced that he is down to five schools, one of which is Kentucky. This is yet another of the big men in the class that Kentucky is after and once again, they are making the cut for a visit. Woods is rumored to favor other SEC schools, with Florida possibly the school to beat. However UK is in the mix and should get a visit....that is very good news. (2) I was told by someone very close to the Darius Miller situation today that Kentucky was a "solid leader" at this stage with Illinois, Tennessee and Florida in the next group. He will narrow to three and then likely make a decision. (3) Also talked to a former player today who told me this on Ramon Harris, "when I first saw him, I honestly didnt understand why he was at Kentucky. But he is growing on me....I tell you, when I see those guys play now, he looks like one of the 2 or 3 best guys on the team. Coach Gillispie is going to like him a lot." I must admit.....I am intrigued by the Razor. (4) Elite Camp is this weekend. The actual list is still up in the air as to who will come, but expect a large influx of 09 kids to the area. We hope to have a list soon, but this should be a great group on campus and the beginning of a major movement in the coming years. More during the day......come see Woo and the Sports Mob.....gummi bears for all.......
