LSU continues to blaze its own trail in the NIL space and it helps that the coaches have all been willing to accept the new era of college athletics and welcome their players making money while in school.
“To think this last third of my coaching career I get to be a part of what’s really special in women’s basketball,” LSU head coach Kim Mulkey said. “It’s special with the attendance, the NIL deals these young people can have, it’s special in so many ways. I knew it would get better, but I never thought it would get this big this fast. It may not be fast in the eyes of some people, but it is fast for this generation.”
