In recruiting?
Miami’s 2023 season-opening 4-0 record has attracted the attention of many players nationwide, but Cincinnati (Ohio) Wint Wood, a 2025 four-star EDGE Justin Hill, who was recently offered by ‘Canes defensive line coach Joe Salave’a, has been particularly impressed by the Hurricanes’ distinguished past and illustrious alumni. He shares where things stand.
We also have an update with 2025 four-star defensive lineman Brandon Brown. After visiting Miami for their matchup against Texas A&M earlier this fall, Brown, who is the No. 236 overall prospect in the 2025 class according to the On3 Industry Ranking, believes the Hurricanes are right near the top of his list.
And, as always, stay tuned today for any news that may come up.

MESSAGE BOARD POST OF THE DAY
We keep talking about our lack of depth but … Posted by 6882
I think it’s huge that our coach’s and starting line up with the help of three inferior teams scheduled earlier on has put our team in a unique position. Our younger guys that may have struggled earlier on should be more developed as the year goes on. Why? Because they’re high ceiling guys that have been getting legit reps/experience/film/in game coaching.
most acc teams including all the undefeated ones can’t say that. Why? Their back ups aren’t getting those much needed reps/experience. Their young guys aren’t top five recruits.
Add to this that ya miami has a big drop off in the depth dept at several key positions as well as pretty much every other acc program but we are still solid in several positions depth wise probably more than most acc teams.
not saying we run the table or anything crazy like that but zero reason we shouldn’t torch gtech and beat unc. After that 3/3 with maybe a bowl win? Looks pretty reasonable to me.
i’m saying 10-3 or 9-4 for the year depending on who the bowl opponent is.
this one game at a time BS mantra starts after unc.
