WHAT’S UP TODAY

First up this morning in your Miami Hurricanes news?

We take a look at and break down the top position groups on defense for Miami post-spring as well as where the talent level and depth are in question.

In recruiting, we catch up with Plantation (Fla.) American Heritage top-15 2026 quarterback Dia Bell, who  is working to narrow down his list before potentially committing before the start of his junior season.

Also in the 2026 class, Queen Creek (Ariz.) 2026 quarterback Tait Reynolds may be committed to Arizona State for baseball, but that hasn’t hindered Miami offensive coordinator Shannon Dawson’s interest in the On300 prospect. Dawson took a two-day trip to Arizona this week to watch the No. 236 overall prospect’s baseball game Tuesday night before watching a practice Wednesday evening.

Lastly, we go Inside The Lines with Hollywood (Fla.) Chaminade-Madonna four-star cornerback Chris Ewald, who is now down to six schools which includes the Miami Hurricanes.

And, as always, stay tuned today for any news that may come up.

MESSAGE BOARD POST OF THE DAY

Cam White…… by  IbisRules07

Great work Izubee. I like seeing your conversations with the players as you can really relate to them. So as soon as I saw you ask Cam to define himself and said” I am a dog”,
I was sold. Sign him up and Tyler too! Come on boys. It’s Canes time!

MIAMI HURRICANES QUOTE OF THE DAY

“Out of high school, Miami didn’t look my way because we had all the big-time players,” Ponds said. “They used to come watch us in the spring and look right over me. I’m not going to hold that against Miami. Miami is on the come up.”
