WHAT’S UP TODAY

First up this morning in your Miami Hurricanes news?

Well, we have plenty of baseball news for you with the regional opener coming up later today. Gino DiMare announced his starting pitcher and had other tidbits yesterday morning, and later in the day we had all your team feedback heading into the game vs. Maine. Plus this morning we have your perspective from the Black Bears side. So read all about that.

In football recruiting? We had plenty more news including a closer big picture look at a official visit weekend upcoming and the visitors.

We have some individual visit previews for you, too. One was with Rogers (Minn.) Senior 2024 EDGE Wyatt Gilmore, who is placing high value on his upcoming June 2 visit to Miami. Don’t miss his thoughts. We also caught up with San Leandro (Calif.) College of San Mateo cornerback Demetrius Freeney, who will take an official visit to Coral Gables this weekend after landing his offer from the Hurricanes just last week.

Another item you won’t want to miss? More than two dozen of the country’s top recruits are spending several days this week at the On3 NIL Elite Series presented by Mizuno, including multiple priority 2024 Miami targets. We have updates on where some 5-stars stand as it relates to the Hurricanes.

CaneSport also continues to count down the top 50 post-spring players on the roster, a list that doesn’t include any post-spring roster additions. Today we break down No. 21 Davonte Brown.

And, as always, stay tuned today for any news that may come up.
