WHAT’S UP TODAY

First up this morning in your Miami Hurricanes news?

Don’t miss our new analysis story on the defense, with a closer look at what lies ahead with the opposing offenses of the final 8 teams Miami will face. Is it good news or bad news? We break it down.

In recruiting?

Miami already landed a 2025 quarterback in three-star Georgia signal caller Luke Nickel, but the Hurricanes are still showing love to other gunslingers in the class. Miami recently sent Orange (Calif.) Lutheran HS – Orange County four-star quarterback TJ Lateef a bundle of handwritten letters and recruiting notes trying to entice the 6-foot-2, 185-pound signal caller to come to Coral Gables. He updates where things stand.

Ackerman (Miss.) Choctaw County 2025 receiver Caleb Cunningham, the No. 12 overall prospect in the On3 Industry Ranking, has already taken visits to programs like Georgia and LSU this fall, and he hasn’t forgotten about Miami. Check out his thoughts.

We also check in with commit Chris Wheatley-Humphrey’s coach for an update on how he’s progressed and is performing so far this season.

Plus Opa Locka (Fla.) Northwestern 2026 four-star receiver Calvin Russell has become a way-too-early name to watch among the Miami Hurricanes’ underclassmen recruits, and we have your update on his situation.

And, as always, stay tuned today for any news that may come up.

MESSAGE BOARD POST OF THE DAY

My concern about UNC & Clemson … Posted by Sao Paulo – Cane

Is that their qbs come alive & have really strong performances against us……

In the past some mediocre qbs have looked like Heisman contenders against us…..

For me, this will be the test regarding culture, grit, toughness etc. Hopefully this doesn´t occur

MIAMI HURRICANES QUOTE OF THE DAY

“I just feel like when the whole coaching staff sends me letters, I feel like that’s something special. Not a lot of colleges do that. Like, maybe one or two coaches will send me letters, but to have the whole coaching staff send me letters, I feel like that’s something special.”
