Eddy Pierre-Louis has quickly set himself apart as a top talent in the 2024 class, and the four-star interior offensive lineman is keeping Miami on his radar.

Pierre-Louis, a 6-foot-3, 335-pound lineman from Tampa Catholic is the No. 7 offensive lineman in the 2024 class, according to the On3 Consensus, was initially offered by Miami July 25 and visited for Miami’s barbecue at the end of July. He’s also picked up dozens of offers from in-state rivals like Florida and Florida State – not to mention out-of-state powers like Alabama, Georgia and Ohio State – but he’s keeping his eye on the Canes.

“My level of interest in Miami is pretty high,” Pierre-Louis said. “They have a great coaching staff and I really have a great connection with all of them.”

Pierre-Louis has primarily been recruited by offensive line coach Alex Mirabal but has also spoken with assistant director of recruiting Edwin Pata. He said he talks with Miami’s staff regularly.

Pierre-Louis has only taken one visit to Miami but has taken seven total unofficial visits to Florida, four to UCF, two to Florida State and a pair to Auburn. He has also taken visits to Alabama, Clemson and Georgia Tech.

The four-star is a Florida legacy as the younger brother of a current Gator offensive lineman and told Gators Online in December he was maintaining weekly contact with Florida, although Pierre-Louis has stopped shy of listing an outright frontrunner to land his commitment.

“Miami is recruiting me really highly,” Pierre-Louis said. “We talk roughly every two weeks.”

Pierre-Louis has a projected NIL valuation of $62k.

CaneSport’s Take

It should come as no surprise Miami is maintaining contact with one of the top offensive line prospects in the 2024 class as the 2023 class wraps up, but Pierre-Louis is holding his cards relatively tight for the time being. He’ll likely have a flurry of top-tier Power Five programs begin their main pushes for him in these next six months.

Pierre-Louis also resembles the next group of top-tier offensive line recruits Mirabal and Miami head coach Mario Cristobal will pursue just after landing an elite 2023 offensive line class headlined by two starting-quality five-star offensive tackles.
