Michigan star defensive end Aidan Hutchinson is almost certain to land within the top two picks of this year’s NFL draft, between either the Jaguars and the Lions, but just to clarify – he isn’t a cat guy.

Hutchinson sat down with former Michigan offensive tackle and NFL veteran Jon Jansen in the latest episode of Chipotle Unwrapped to let people get to know him a little more. So, what’s the one thing most people wouldn’t guess about him? To Jansen’s surprise, he lives with two cats at his apartment.

Jansen: “You’re a cat guy?”

Hutchinson: “No, no, no. Don’t do that. I’m not a cat guy. I’m an animal person.”

Like many Michigan fans, he’s also a Tom Brady stan. Outside of his All-American father, Brady is who Hutchinson says he looked up to as an athlete… to the point of mimicking the seven-time Super Bowl winner’s attire.

Hutchinson: “Growing up, I was always dressing up like Tom Brady to be honest with you.”

Jansen: “You make me feel so old when you say that you were dressing up as one of my teammates.”

Hutch’s go-to Chipotle order

One bowl – brown rice, black beans, chicken, guac, lettuce and corn.

Leaving a legacy beyond Michigan

“I just know if I continue to do what I’m doing to ensure my success, I believe that I will have no regrets,” Hutchinson said. “As long as I know that, I’m a happy man.”

2022 NFL Draft status

ESPN senior NFL draft analyst Todd McShay says Michigan’s Aidan Hutchinson is the top selection, the best player on the board and a sure thing for the Jaguars in his latest draft projections, envisioning a lethal duo on the edge with Josh Allen. “It’s that simple,” McShay wrote.

If Jacksonville decides to pivot for whatever reason, he’ll surely find a home with the Lions at No. 2 overall.
