Michigan football will play for its 2nd-straight Big Ten Championship on Saturday night in Indianapolis against the Purdue Boilermakers. It is the only thing now that stands between a spot in the College Football Playoff and a shot at a national title.

According to Vegas Insider, Michigan is a 15.5-point favorite over Purdue on Saturday at Lucas Oil Stadium. The over/under for total points scored is set at 51 in a game that should feature a decent amount of offense for both teams.

Purdue finished the regular season 8-4 and survived a chaotic Big Ten West that seemingly had a different projected winner every week. Its 3 losses in conference play came at the hands of Penn State (35-31), at Wisconsin (35-24) and Iowa (24-3). The Boilermakers come into the game somewhat hot, having won the last 3 games.

“We’re excited to play against an unbelievably talented Michigan team sitting at 12-0 and coming off a huge win at Ohio State and (who) play dominant all year long,” Purdue head coach Jeff Brohm said on Sunday afternoon. “We know how talented and how good Michigan is, and we have a great deal of respect for Coach Harbaugh and his staff, his football team because we watched video, as well, and we watch game tape and watch things on TV.”

Kickoff from Lucas Oil Stadium in Downtown Indianapolis is set for 8:17 p.m. ET on Saturday night and will be broadcast via FOX.

“I think there’s already plenty of fuel of the to the rivalry. I mean, there’s songs. They have songs. The one about how they don’t give a damn about the whole state of Michigan. It’s all good. It’s been going on for a century, don’t you think? It’s all good.”
