Michigan dropped one spot in the On3 Industry National Team Recruiting Rankings following On3’s updated release of the 2024 On300 on Monday. With 25 pledges this cycle, featuring 14 four stars and 11 three stars, the Wolverines are now No. 15 overall.

Team rankings are determined based on each program’s 16 highest-rated commits.

Michigan 2024 Recruiting Class

The Wolverines have the fifth most verbal commits across the Power 5 level. Their total score of 90.988 sits higher than the likes of Texas, USC, Miami, South Carolina, Arkansas, Texas Tech, Ole Miss, UCF, Kentucky and North Carolina.

U-M is also No. 4 in the Big Ten and trails Ohio State, Penn State and Oregon. Every team in the conference has at least eight commits this cycle.

Michigan’s 2024 class is highlighted by Top 100 Cincinnati (Ohio) Moeller running back Jordan Marshall, Top 100 Charlotte (N.C.) Providence Day quarterback Jadyn Davis, Top 100 Rochester (Mich.) Adams tight end Brady Prieskorn and On300 Kansas City (Mo.) Rockhurst offensive tackle Andrew Sprague, On300 Pittsburgh (Pa.) Central Catholic linebacker Cole Sullivan, On300 Brandywine (Md.) Gwynn Park EDGE Devon Baxter, Harper Woods (Mich.) High defensive back Jacob Oden, On300 Austin (Tex.) Vandegrift offensive tackle Blake Frazier, On300 West Charlotte (N.C.) High linebacker Jaden Smith, On300 Bellevue (Wash.) High tight end Hogan Hansen and On300 Nashville (Tenn.) Ensworth linebacker Mason Curtis.

Michigan is circling back on a few 2024 flip targets, including Top 100 Georgia wide receiver commit Ni’Tareon “Nitro” Tuggle, four-star Miami EDGE commit Elias Rudolph and Top 100 Miami safety commit Zaquan Patterson.

The average On3 NIL Valuation, the industry’s leading index that sets the standard market NIL value for high school and college athletes, for U-M’s 2024 class is $66K. A proprietary algorithm, the On3 NIL Valuation calculates an athlete’s NIL value using dynamic data points targeting three primary categories: performance, influence and exposure. While the algorithm includes deal data, it does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals athletes have completed to date, nor does it set an athlete’s NIL valuation for their entire career.
