National playoff officials finally made Harbaugh available to the media Thursday, at which point the Michigan coach was asked about Hill.

“His status is going to be questionable,” Harbaugh said. “He’s working through something right now. We’ll know more today whether he’ll be able to play.”

Several sources have told TheWolverine.com “it’s more likely he plays than doesn’t.” His issue is not believed to be injury related, and he’s on ‘stand-by’ until he gets cleared.

Hill was scheduled to meet the media at a Dec. 21 press conference in Ann Arbor. He was pulled from the itinerary after with the explanation that “something came up.”

The Michigan safety has not been made available since.

Hill earned All-Big Ten honors after notching 65 tackles, 39 solo this year. He also picked off two passes and broke up seven others.

Harbaugh confirmed later the Michigan defensive back had not made the trip — yet.

“He’s not right now, [but] he might be,” he said. “He could be here today, [but] he may not. But [he’s] not currently in Florida, no.”

Watch for more on this development in the hours to come.
