Former Michigan quarterback Tom Brady — a Super Bowl champion for the New England Patriots (six times) and Tampa Bay Buccaneers (once) — stepped away from football after 23 professional seasons. The 45-year-old announced his retirement “for good” after coming out of retirement this past year.

Brady started 25 games at Michigan, with a 20-5 record. He completed 61.9 percent of his passes for 4,773 yards and 30 touchdowns. He won three Big Ten championships and was part of the Wolverines’ 1997 national title-winning squad.

Here are some of Brady’s highlights at Michigan.

Michigan flipped 2023 defensive lineman EJ Holland from Stanford on National Signing Day. Here’s more from TheWolverine.com’s EJ Holland:

Brandt originally gave Stanford a verbal pledge in the summer. However, Brandt opted not to sign with the Cardinal during the early period following the resignation of head coach David Shaw.

And that opened the door for Michigan to make a run and eventually complete the flip.

Michigan defensive line coach Mike Elston led the way in his recruitment and quickly developed a bond with the West Coast native.

“I like Coach Elston as a guy and coach,” Brandt said. “He’s really genuine. I like how he develops his players on and off the field.”

At 6-foot-4, 260 pounds, Brandt plays multiple spots along the defensive line at the high school level. Michigan recruited him more as a bigger EDGE, which was a void left by decommit Collins Acheampong, who flipped from Michigan to Miami before the early signing period.

Brandt was impressed with Elston’s pitch and likes the idea of suiting up for a team that is known for producing NFL pass rushers.

Michigan did not win the sweepstakes for five-star athlete Nyckoles Harbor.

Michigan football featured its best all-time kicker with a graphic on Jake Moody.

A clip of Hayes getting blown back by a power move from former Notre Dame defensive lineman Isaiah Foskey went viral Tuesday, but he got some revenge on Day 2, pancaking the Irish defender.
