Michigan is now ranked No. 29 in the 2023 On3 Consensus national team recruiting rankings after landing commitments from St. Louis (Mo.) Cardinal Ritter wide receiver Fredrick Moore and Warminster (Penn.) Archbishop Wood linebacker Semaj Bridgeman. From this morning, Michigan moved up 13 spots.

Moore committed to Michigan over offers from Illinois, Michigan State, and others. At 6-foot, 180 pounds, Moore ranks as the No. 82 wide receiver and No. 546 overall prospect, per the On3 consensus rankings. Bridgeman chose Michigan over offers from Penn State, Rutgers, Maryland, and others. At 6-foot-1, 235 pounds, Bridgeman checks in as the No. 26 linebacker and No. 319 overall prospect.

Moore is the second wide receiver in the 2023 class for Michigan while Bridgeman is now the lone linebacker commitment for the Wolverines.

The Class

As a result, the Wolverines have a total score of 87.492, placing them just behind South Carolina, which has a score of 87.512.

Michigan is very much in play for Top 100 prospects like quarterback Dante Moore, wide receiver Jalen Brown, EDGE prospect Nyckoles Harbor, defensive back Javien Toviano, ATH Jacobe Johnson as well as other top targets like Enow Etta, John Walker and more. And that means the Wolverines should move up the rankings soon.

During the month of June, U-M has hosted a number of these prospects on official official visits.

The seventh and eighth members of the 2023 Michigan recruiting class, Moore and Bridgeman join consensus four-star running back Cole Cabana, tight end Deakon Tonielli, three-star wide receiver Semaj Morgan, three-star defensive lineman Brooks Bahr, three-star running back Benjamin Hall and highly touted kicker Adam Samaha.

Michigan is looking to take around 25 prospects this cycle.

Michigan is the No. 6 highest ranked Big Ten school, trailing Ohio State and Penn State and Michigan State, Iowa, and Northwestern.
