This article will be pinned each week and will also appear as a “sticky” thread on our message boards.

Mississippi State Men’s Hoops

This week is finals week, and teams will be off across the country in lieu of student athletes finishing up their semesters in the classroom. The Bulldogs aren’t in action again until Saturday, December 9 against Tulane in Atlanta, Georgia, as part of the Holiday Hoopsgiving invitational. That game tips of at 10:30 a.m. on the SEC Network.

After suffering the worst loss of the Chris Jans era on Sunday to Southern, Mississippi State has to find a way to bounce back in a big way against the Green Wave. They’re no slouch, either. Tulane is 6-1 on the season with dominating wins across their first seven games. Tulane can score it, that much is proven. If Mississippi State wants that bounce back win, the Bulldog defense will have to make it off the bus.

Sunday’s game will be broadcast on the SEC Network and ESPN+, but remember, Maroon and White Daily subscribers can also find the game at a great price on Fubo.

Mississippi State Women’s Hoops

The Mississippi State women’s team will take a much needed break this week after injuries, coaching illnesses and back to back losses have them in a rough spot. After falling out of the top 25, a week long break could be just what the doctor ordered for the Mississippi State men’s and women’s squads.

The women aren’t back in action until Monday, Dec. 11, in Humphrey Coliseum against Kennesaw State. That game will be aired on the ESPN +, with tipoff coming at 6:30 p.m.
