How did NC State football draw on television this season? Overall, the Pack may not have been a headliner, but NC State generally produced solid viewing numbers for the various ESPN-related networks. In terms of the ACC, the Wolfpack was one of the better draws

NC State were televised nationally five times, excluding the ACC Network. One of the five was this past Friday afternoon, when NC State-North Carolina was on ABC. That game drew an estimated 3.61 million viewers, the seventh most-watched game of rivalry weekend.

That total also beat the UCLA-Cal game, which started an hour later on Fox, and had 3.27 million watching. The only ACC game that did better over Thanksgiving was Florida-Florida State, which was right after the NC State-UNC contest on ABC and had an estimated 6.71 million tuning in, second most overall from rivalry weekend.

Below are charts to detail how the other four games for NC State football on national television, which had more traditional time slots, did compared to other games at those time slots. The ratings are provided by SportsMediaWatch.com.
