EDGE Cameron Lenhardt commits to Nebraska over Michigan State and Penn State
Just two days after naming a top three EDGE Cameron Lenhardt originally from Staten Island who plays for Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy has committed to Nebraska. The Huskers won out for the talented edge rusher over Michigan State and Penn State.

The Huskers have landed their 14th recruit in the 2023 class with Lenhardt. He is the second EDGE in the class joining Husker legacy Maverick Noonan from Omaha (Neb.) Elkhorn South. They are expected to be the only two EDGE rushers in the class.
Lenhardt only took an official visit to Nebraska and was in the process of lining up additional official visits. Besides Michigan State and Penn State there was considerable interest from Maryland too that he was considering.
The recruiting efforts for Nebraska were led by coach Mike Dawson and coach Erik Chinander.
