Coleman is the only recruit from Nebraska in the top 100 and is the No. 2 athlete in the 2023 class. Coleman visited Nebraska from June 3-5 and the Huskers see him primarily as a wide receiver. Omarion Miller, another 2023 Nebraska receiver target, also visited Lincoln that weekend and is rated at No. 108 in the On3 Consensus.

Nebraska wide receivers coach Mickey Joseph is the primary recruiter for both athletes and Coleman spoke at length about the impact of Joseph on his visit at a press conference held Sunday evening.

“He’s going to be basically stepping in as my father figure for the next four years and he made me feel like a priority and I love that,” Coleman said.

After concluding his visit on Sunday, Coleman went to compete at the Nebraska 7-on-7 camp. A full recap complete with highlights and analysis can be found here.

Coleman has an official visit to Michigan planned for June 24 and says that he will hold some of his visit dates for the fall before committing in December.

In his sophomore season at Lincoln East, Coleman hauled in 17 passes for 561 yards and 10 touchdowns. He is the top recruit in the state of Nebraska.
