Is Notre Dame the leader for Bell?

The On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine (RPM) believes so at a whopping 96.9 percent. Blue & Gold logged a prediction for Bell to land at Notre Dame back on May 30, believing that the Irish are the school trending for the four-star talent.

On3’s RPM was released to the public in early December. The On3 engineering group teamed up with Spiny.ai to create the industry’s first algorithm and machine learning-based product to predict where athletes will attend college. It factors in machine learning, expert predictions, social sentiment, visits and historical trends.

Bell has kept his recruitment close to his vest throughout the process. He announced a top 10 schools list on June 5 but didn’t narrow things down further than that. He’s also kept some of his visits off the radar.

The only schools we’re aware of that he visited in June are Houston and Notre Dame. He took an official to Notre Dame the weekend of June 17 and was at nearby Houston the following day after returning home from South Bend.

Bell ranks as the nation’s No. 118 overall recruit and No. 11 cornerback prospect according to the 2023 On3 Consensus. He’s also the No. 19 player from his home state of Texas.

Bell has an NIL Valuation of $115,000, which slots him at No. 154 in the high school football NIL rankings. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.

His older brother, Dillon, signed with Georgia in the 2022 class and ranks as a four-star wide receiver per the On3 Consensus.

Notre Dame currently has 16 commitments in its 2023 class, which ranks No. 2 nationally per the 2023 Consensus Football Team Recruiting Rankings.
