The weekend of June 10-12 figures to be one of Notre Dame’s biggest recruiting weekends of the year with well over a dozen class of 2023 prospects confirmed to be officially visiting campus. And on Monday, the list got bigger.

Hagerstown (Md.) St. James School’s Devan Houstan, the nation’s No. 214 player and No. 28 defensive lineman according to the 2023 On3 Consensus, tweeted that he’ll be “coming home” to South Bend that weekend.

Houstan committed to Notre Dame May 7 despite only visiting campus once, so getting the 6-5, 270-pounder back on campus will only help the Irish keep Houstan solid.

Notre Dame currently has the nation’s No. 1 class according to the 2023 Consensus Football Team Recruiting Rankings.

And below is the tweet from Houstan announcing that he’s visiting Notre Dame in a few weeks.

While the spring evaluation period is slowing down for the Irish, a few of the coaches were in Chicago on Monday. Cornerbacks coach Mike Mickens made it over to Kenwood Academy.

Will Notre Dame land Rock Island (Ill.) Alleman’s Charles Jagusah, a five-star tackle according to On3’s own rankings? On3’s Chad Simmons delivers his report.

“The class is unmatched. This is unheard of for a school like Notre Dame to have a class like this. It’s scary. It’s a really scary sight.”
