Notre Dame’s Pot of Gold day for the 2025 cycle was on Friday, and the Irish extended close to 70 new offers to the rising junior class that day. But the staff is still extending new offers and did so Monday, dishing a scholarship to Hesperia (Calif.) Sultana’s LaMason Waller.

He picked up the offer from cornerbacks coach Mike Mickens and is being recruited by the Irish at the same position.

The 6-2, 170-pounder ranks as the nation’s No. 68 overall recruit and No. 7 “athlete” according to the 2025 On3 Industry Ranking.

Oregon and Michigan are the two schools considered out in front of his recruitment according to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine (RPM). Georgia, Colorado, Washington, Oklahoma and Texas A&M have also offered the four-star recruit.

Quote of the Day

“I’ve been dreaming about Notre Dame — being raised in that. I know it’s a great school and what it has to offer. It’s a great fit, but at the end of the day, I have to see what’s best for me. I have to take it in stride and follow the recruiting process.”

— 2025 WR Jerome Bettis Jr., son of Irish legend Jerome Bettis Sr., on his Notre Dame offer
