Notre Dame verbal pledges from across the country are wrapping up their respective junior and senior seasons, and Blue & Gold is tracking their performances.

Here is a breakdown of how the Notre Dame commits fared over the weekend.

OL Sullivan Absher

Belmont (N.C.) South Point (11-1) ran for 351 yards and 6 touchdowns in a 74-41 victory over Greensboro (N.C.) Dudley (9-3) in the second round of the North Carolina Class 3A state playoffs.

Next game: at Shelby (N.C.) Crest (9-3) in the quarterfinals of the North Carolina Class 3A state playoffs Nov. 18.


LB Jaiden Ausberry

Baton Rouge (La.) University Lab (7-3) had a bye.

Official season stats: 85 total stops, 8 tackles for loss, 3 sacks, 1 forced fumble, 3 passes broken up, 1 blocked punt and 1 fumble recovery for a touchdown … 13 rushes for 37 yards and 6 touchdowns (missing one game).

Next game: vs. Metairie (La.) Park Country Day (6-5) in the second round of the Louisiana Division II state playoffs Nov. 18.


LB Drayk Bowen

Compiled 10 tackles, 2 interceptions and 1 pass broken up, plus had 25 rushing attempts for 227 yards and 2 touchdowns, to lead Merrillville (Ind.) Andrean (9-3) past Lafayette (Ind.) Central Catholic (9-4) 30-12 in the quarterfinals of the Indiana Class 2A state playoffs.

Official season stats: 125 total stops, 13 tackles for loss, 3 sacks, 2 interceptions, 4 passes broken up, 3 forced fumbles, 1 fumble recovery and 1 blocked punt … 182 carries for 1,331 yards and 21 touchdowns, plus 9 receptions for 216 yards and 3 scores.

Peyton Bowen

Posted 6 tackles and intercepted a pass in a 42-7 victory for Denton (Texas) Guyer (11-0) over Flower Mound (Texas) Marcus (6-5) in the first round of the Texas 6A Division II state playoffs … Guyer is ranked as the No. 14 team in the country by MaxPreps.

Unofficial season stats: 61 tackles, 3 tackles for loss, 4 interceptions (1 returned for a touchdown), 3 passes broken up, 1 kickoff return touchdown and 3 punt returns for scores.

RB Dylan Edwards

Ran 26 times for 174 yards and 2 scores in a 36-21 triumph for Derby (Kan.) High (9-2) against Topeka (Kan.) Washburn Rural (8-3) in the quarterfinals of the Kansas Class 6A state playoffs.

Official season stats: 170 carries for 1,764 yards and 29 touchdowns … 13 receptions for 205 yards and 3 scores … 1 kickoff return touchdown and 1 punt return score.

TE Cooper Flanagan

Caught 3 passes for 63 yards in Concord (Calif.) De La Salle’s (8-3) 40-14 win over Union City (Calif.) James Logan Charter (7-4) in the first round of the California Interscholastic Federation North Coast Section Open/Division state playoffs.

Unofficial season stats: 28 receptions for 440 yards and 3 touchdowns … 39 tackles, 9.5 tackles for loss, 3.5 sacks and 1 interception

WR Rico Flores Jr.

Caught 5 passes for 65 yards and 1 touchdown in a 52-8 victory for Folsom (Calif.) High (10-1) against Sacramento (Calif.) Sheldon (8-4) in the second round of the California Interscholastic Federation Sac-Joaquin Section Division I state playoffs.

Official season stats: 64 receptions for 963 yards and 7 touchdowns.

CB Christian Gray

Intercepted 1 pass, made 1 tackle and returned a kickoff for 91 yards in a 44-21 victory for St. Louis De Smet (7-5) against Columbia (Mo.) Rock Bridge (8-3) in the quarterfinals of the Missouri Class 6 state playoffs.

Unofficial season stats: 27 tackles, 3 interceptions and 1 sack … 4 receptions for 89 yards and a touchdown … 2 rushes for 18 yards and a score.

WR Jaden Greathouse

Caught 4 passes for 52 yards in Austin (Texas) Westlake’s (11-0) 58-10 blowout victory versus Round Rock (Texas) Cedar Ridge (5-6) in the first round of the Texas 6A Division I state playoffs … Westlake is ranked as the No. 11 team in the nation by MaxPreps.

Official season stats: 46 receptions for 842 yards and 10 touchdowns … 2 punt return scores.

RB Jayden Limar

Ran 23 times for 192 yards and 3 touchdowns, plus had 3 receptions for 52 yards and a score, to lead Lake Stevens (Wash.) High (9-2) to a 42-27 triumph over Bothell (Wash.) North Creek (5-5) in the second round of the Washington Class 4A state playoffs.

Unofficial season stats: 159 rushes for 1,467 yards and 26 touchdowns … 20 receptions for 213 yards and 3 scores.

Official season stats: 106 rushes for 908 yards and 16 touchdowns … 10 receptions for 264 yards and 3 scores.

Ben Minich

DL Boubacar Traore

West Roxbury (Mass.) Catholic Memorial (9-0) defeated North Chelmsford (Mass.) High (8-1) 28-7 in the second round of the Massachusetts Division 2 state playoffs … Traore is out with an injury.

Unofficial season stats: 10 tackles, 5 stops for loss, 1 sack and 1 forced fumble in only three games played.

DL Brenan Vernon

Mentor (Ohio) High (9-3) upset Medina (Ohio) High (11-2) 42-21 in the semifinals of the Ohio Region 1 state playoffs.

LB Preston Zinter

CB Karson Hobbs
