Notre Dame class of 2024 quarterback commit CJ Carr from Saline (Mich.) High joined the show and discussed his visit to South Bend on Tuesday and much more. He had his recruiting hat on with several other top prospects on campus, including elite 2024 wide receiver Ryan Wingo from St. Louis University High. Carr talked about their connection and other players he was communicating with.

Hyde talked about some of his favorite players who visited South Bend Tuesday, while Singer gives the latest in their respective recruitments.

Notre Dame unveils Shamrock Series uniforms with ode to ‘The Hangover’

THAT’S how you reveal a uniform.

When Notre Dame takes the field in Las Vegas against BYU on Oct. 8, the Irish will sport the latest rendition of its Shamrock Series uniforms.

The combination, which was released on Wednesday morning, is all white with gold trim of the Golden Dome and an art-deco Notre Dame shamrock logo on the sleeve. “Notre Dame” is across the front, and the gold numbers are outlined in black.

The Irish will wear their classic gold helmets, an ode to Las Vegas’ Golden Age.

But the new uniforms arguably were not even the best part of the four-minute reveal.

Notre Dame sent head coach Marcus Freeman, junior tight end Michael Mayer and senior defensive end Isaiah Foskey out to Vegas for a reveal inspired by the 2009 film “The Hangover.” Irish greats Mike Golic Sr. and Mike Golic Jr. made appearances as well, as the group spoofed the desert scene.

The 2022 Shamrock Series game will kickoff from Allegiant Stadium, home of the Las Vegas Raiders, at 7:30 p.m. ET on NBC. Notre Dame is undefeated in Shamrock Series games, but the 2022 meeting could be a battle.
