Notre Dame fans have one last day to bid on their favorite players’ game-worn cleats. The silent auction for the Fighting Irish’s “Cleats For A Cause” initiative ends Monday, Oct. 31, at 11:59 p.m. ET.

Irish players wore special cleats with the logo of one of four local charities printed on them during a 44-21 victory over UNLV in South Bend on Oct. 22. The cleats are being auctioned off to raise money for those charities (the South Bend Center for the Homeless, the Boys & Girls Club of St. Joseph County, the YMCA of Greater Michiana and Cultivate Food Rescue).

Junior tight end Michael Mayer’s cleats had the highest bid ($3,500) among all Irish players as of Sunday night. Head coach Marcus Freeman wore special shoes, meanwhile, and those had a bid of $5,000 Sunday night. Mayer’s sale will benefit the YMCA while Freeman’s will be split among the four.
