Notre Dame’s high school recruiting focus has turned to the 2024 class. Tuesday suggested as much, at least.

The Irish offered three 2024 prospects Tuesday, two defensive linemen and a wide receiver. Katy (Texas) Paetow EDGE Loghan Thomas, Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy defensive lineman Deyvid Palepale and Swainsboro (Ga.) receiver Demello Jones all reported on social media they added an offer from Notre Dame.

Thomas is a four-star prospect and the No. 334 player in the 2024 On3 Consensus. He is ranked even higher in the On300, at No. 196 overall. His offer list includes Arizona, Colorado, Kansas, Kansas State, Houston, SMU and Texas Tech.

Palepale and Jones are not ranked at this time. Notre Dame joined Alabama, Florida State, Georgia, Kentucky, North Carolina, Tennessee and several others in offering Jones. Palepale has 12 offers, with Maryland, Miami, Pittsburgh, Penn State, Wisconsin and USC among them.

The Irish have seven commitments in their 2024 class, which is ranked fourth in the 2024 On3 Consensus Team Recruiting Rankings. Six of them are four-star recruits ranked in the top 300.

Quote of the Day

“Cormac wants it so bad and is so pure. I want it for him, because he has invested so much. He has helped me with a voice. It’s like, ‘God, let us get this one,’ because this kid has been cracking the whip on people all season, starting in June.”
