Notre Dame’s 2022 season kicks off in 67 days. The rest of the freshman class has arrived in South Bend. Camp begins in about a month. The fall is starting to take shape. As such, opponent strengths, weaknesses and questions are becoming more clear. Over a 12-day period, BlueandGold.com will take a look at each of them and provide something that looks good for Notre Dame, something that could be a struggle for the Irish, and something to watch. After examining Notre Dame’s first seven opponents this season (which are listed at the bottom of this article), here is a look at Syracuse. The Irish play at the JMA Wireless Dome on Oct. 29.
