Eight 2028 prospects to know in the state of Ohio

COLUMBUS – The state of Ohio consistently produces Division I prospects.

Ohio State has not offered in-state prospects in the 2028 class but they are evaluating several of them heading into the summer. Lettermen Row has a list of eight 2028 prospects to know in the Buckeye State.

Elijah Harris

2028 running back Elijah Harris had a breakout freshman season for Cleveland Heights (Ohio) despite sharing a backfield with Missouri signee Marquise Davis. The 5-foot-10, 170-pound Harris rushed for 617 yards and six touchdowns while also playing defense. Kentucky and Bowling Green have already offered Harris.

Emiere Lemons

All signs point to 2028 wide receiver Emiere Lemons being the next top prospect at Cleveland (Ohio) Glenville. He was asked to block a lot as a freshman for the Tarblooders but he has caught the ball well on the camp circuit this offseason. At 6-foot-4 and 200 pounds, Lemons already looks like a Power Four prospects. He holds offers from Indiana, Kentucky, Maryland and Syracuse along with several Mid-American Conference programs.

Cory Nicodemus

Grove City (Ohio) standout Cory Nicodemus has the intangibles to be one of the top 2028 offensive lineman in Ohio. The 6-foot-5, 305-pound Nicodemus has already visited several schools this spring. He plans to camp at Ohio State and a few other programs in Junes.

Brydon Feister

Four-star Akron (Ohio) Archbishop Hoban linebacker Brayton Feister is one of the top 2027 prospects in Ohio and his younger brother, Brydon, has the potential to be a top prospect in the 2028 class. The younger Feister is a 6-foot-3 and 205 pound linebacker prospect. He is also a talented wrestler that won the OHSAA Division II State Wrestling Championship at 190 pounds as a freshman. Kentucky, Kent State and Indiana have already offered the younger Feister.

Judah Blair

2028 West Chester (Ohio) Lakota West athlete Judah Blair might be the best athlete on this list. He had a personal best of 10.63 seconds in the 100-meter dash this spring at 6-foot-1, 195 pounds. Blair has already received offers from Maryland, Purdue, Howard, Miami (Ohio), Pittsburgh, Oregon, Southern Miss., Texas A&M and Indiana this spring.

Tyler Gullat

Another talented soon-to-be sophomore linebacker in Ohio is Toledo (Ohio) St. Francis De Sales standout Tyler Gullat. He had 38 tackles, one sack and three pass breakups as a freshman against some of the top competition in Toledo area. The 6-foot-1, 205-pound Gullat already holds offers from Eastern Michigan, Miami (Ohio) and Toledo.

Dante Shipp

Sandusky (Ohio) safety Dante Shipp Jr. has the potential to be one of the top 2028 defensive backs in the state. The 6-foot-1, 185-pound Shipp holds an early offer from Miami (Ohio). He has been impressive on the camp circuit this spring.

Lorenzo McMullen

The final prospect on this watchlist is 2028 Cincinnati (Ohio) Taft athlete Lorenzo McMullen. He is a 6-foot-2, 175-pound athlete that can play all over the field but might be best at wide receiver. Cincinnati, Indiana, Kentucky, Maryland, Purdue and several Mid-American Conference programs have already offered McMullen.
