COLUMBUS — Ohio State is pacing to sign a top-10 recruiting class in the 2026 cycle, but it has lost another commitment on National Signing Day.

Four-star North Forney (Texas) running back Legend Bey has flipped back to Tennessee after flipping from the Volunteers to Ohio State in November. Bey is the No. 191 overall prospect and No. 6 athlete in the Rivals Industry Rankings. Rivals ranks Bey as the No. 140 overall prospect and No. 4 athlete in the 2026

Legend Bey is the second decommitment for Ohio State on Wednesday. Four-star Inglewood (Calif) Mater Dei wide receiver Kayden Dixon-Wyatt flipped from the Buckeyes to USC. Dixon-Wyatt is the No. 136 overall prospect and No. 18 wide receiver in the 2026 class, according to the Rivals Industry Rankings.

Ohio State still has four-star Delaware (Ohio) Hayes running back Favour Akih committed. Running backs coach Carlos Locklyn wanted a second this cycle but he will now have to look for someone during the second signing period or the Transfer Portal.
