COLUMBUS — Ohio State has one of the most loaded quarterback rooms in the country.

There are so many storylines coming from the marquee position in the Buckeyes locker room, so The Tim May Podcast decided to have a second show this week to try covering it all.

On this packed edition, Tim welcomes former Ohio State quarterback and national champion Craig Krenzel on the show to analyze the ongoing competition for Ryan Day and the Buckeyes. As a veteran of winning position battles and leading a top team in his first year as a starter, Krenzel has plenty of advice for C.J. Stroud, Kyle McCord and Jack Miller as they battle for the job.

Krenzel, who won the starting job at Ohio State in 2002, led the Buckeyes to a national championship in his first season at the helm, so he certainly is an expert in the subject. He shares his experience from nearly 20 years ago and how it relates to what is happening now between the three talented quarterbacks.

What can each of the three signal-callers do in the final days of training camp to stake their claim at the starting job? Is C.J. Stroud ready to take over for the Buckeyes and lead them to a national title? When did Krenzel realize he was ”the guy’ to take control of the locker room back in 2002? What traits are required to become a leader at the quarterback position at Ohio State?
