COLUMBUS – Ohio State just wrapped a four-week stretch of one-day recruiting camps, providing plenty to talk about on the latest episode of Talking Stuff.Â
The Buckeyes hosted a talent-laden group their two camps this week, headlined by 2023 wide receivers Carnell Tate, Anthony Brown, Brandon Inniss and Braylon James. All four are serious targets for Ohio State and Brian Hartline, and the Buckeyes would like to at least add one early on in the cycle as they start building the 2023 class. Since Hartline took over in 2018, every receiver he has recruited has been a top-100 player in the nation and that’s not going to change anytime soon.
Ohio State offered 2024 quarterback Jadyn Davis on Tuesday, too. Expected to be one of the top quarterbacks in his class, he worked out in front of Ryan Day and Corey Dennis. The offer was the second to a quarterback in the 2024 class for the Buckeyes.
After nearly 15 months, the dead period was lifted and on-campus recruiting returned this month. But June is nearly over, meaning the quiet period will set in starting Sunday night at midnight. Ohio State will host its final official visitors this weekend before the quiet period, welcoming in key prospects such as defensive end Enai White, defensive end Kenyatta Jackson, defensive lineman Gabriel Brownlow-Dindy, safety Markeith Williams and offensive tackle Kam Dewberry. Cornerback commits Ryan Turner and Jaheim Singletary will also be visiting. Singletary has been taking other official visits despite his commitment, making this weekend a high priory for Ohio State’s coaching staff.
Lettermen Row’s Jeremy Birmingham and Spencer Holbrook are discussing those topics and more in the latest episode of Talking Stuff, the recruiting podcast from Lettermen Row.
