Buckeyes sending message to Big Ten contenders, Heisman voters
COLUMBUS — Even the pouring rain couldn’t dampen the Ohio State machine from rolling on Saturday night.
The Buckeyes allowed a touchdown on Indiana’s opening drive, and then they put the clamps down. Ohio State ran away with a 54-7 dominant win to crush the Hoosiers and continue to send a message to the rest of the Big Ten Conference.
The Lettermen Row crew is back once again to break down the big win and what is on the horizon for the Buckeyes.

C.J. Stroud has solidified himself as a college football star, and the first-year starting quarterback has seen his Heisman Trophy odds rise to the third-best number in the country. Stroud’s surge has paved the way for the Buckeyes success behind the best offense in college football. That offense also features perhaps the best running back in the sport, and TreVeyon Henderson has firmly entered his name into the Heisman race as well.
Next up for Stroud, Henderson and the Buckeyes is a top-20 battle with Penn State. That matchup lost some luster following the Nittany Lions’ upset loss to Illinois, but it is still a pivotal Big Ten game as Ohio State will square off with a team that has arguably the most talented roster in the conference outside of Columbus.
