COLUMBUS – Well, Ohio State is doing just fine.

In what was rightfully billed as top-10 showdown against Michigan State, the Buckeyes absolutely obliterated the Spartans on Saturday at Ohio Stadium in a 56-7 win.

Ohio State strutted its way to a massive win to put its foot down on the Big Ten race. The Buckeyes have positioned themselves well as they continue to search for a fifth straight Big Ten conference championship and a third consecutive appearance in the College Football Playoff.

Buckeyes quarterback C.J. Stroud completed a school-record 17 consecutive completions en route to a day of 393 yards passing and six touchdowns in the first half alone. Stroud has proved that he is a special player, and he’s only getting better the more he plays.

The entire Buckeyes offensive unit looked like its typical dangerous, world-beating self during a rout of the Spartans. It’s now back-to-back games of 50-plus-point performances in Big Ten action for Ohio State following two straight lackluster games against Penn State and Nebraska.

But now, Ohio State coach Ryan Day and his offense looks as if it is back to full throttle with just one game remaining in the regular season. The Buckeyes will head into that rivalry game against Michigan next Saturday with all the momentum in the world behind it – and all the reason to believe that they will continue their huge winning streak over the Wolverines.

As for Saturday’s game, though, there were plenty of sights and sounds to take in during a beautiful fall day at Ohio Stadium.

Lettermen Row photographer Jeremy Birmingham was on the sidelines to capture all of Saturday’s action as Ohio State battled against the Spartans. You can check out those photos from the game in the gallery below.
