COLUMBUS — It’s impossible for Ohio State to be any better than the best in the country.

So how can the Buckeyes continue to improve on that side of the ball after having the nation’s top unit and losing two of the best receivers in program history? They’re still working to elevate following one of the most dominant offensive showings in school history just a few months ago.

Ohio State brings back quarterback C.J. Stroud, and he has plenty of returning weapons such as Jaxon Smith-Njigba and running back TreVeyon Henderson. Of course, the Buckeyes recruit offensive skill talent at an extraordinarily high level, so the depth is there for another year of offensive dominance for Ohio State. A loaded group of receivers, one that features Julian Fleming, Smith-Njigba, Marvin Harrison Jr., Emeka Egbuka and others, and three talented backs, including Henderson, Evan Pryor and Miyan Williams, are all fighting to be featured with Stroud in Ryan Day’s system

And the spring will go a long way in proving just how good this upcoming edition of the Buckeyes offense truly can be.

After hearing from the wide receivers and running backs, the Lettermen Row crew is back with Austin Ward, Jeremy Birmingham, Spencer Holbrook and Tim May for a Practice Report presented by Byers Auto. They analyze what they heard from the skill players and how this spring could be huge for how the depth chart ultimately shakes out.

What were the key takeaways from the second practice of the spring and interviews for Ohio State? Lettermen Row is breaking down the day’s events in Columbus. Check out the video below. And as always, it’s presented by the fine folks at Byers Auto. Need an auto? Head to Byers Auto today.
