COLUMBUS — The Ohio State football community is hurting.

Former Buckeyes quarterback and record-setting legend Dwayne Haskins died Saturday at the age of 24.

Tim May is back with an edition of his podcast to remember the special life of Haskins.

Tim is joined by legendary former Ohio State coach Urban Meyer this week. Meyer recruited Dwayne Haskins to flip from Maryland and choose Ohio State. Haskins was the quarterback for Meyer in 2018, when the Buckeyes went 13-1, won the Big Ten championship and capped off the season with a Rose Bowl victory over Washington.

Haskins was incredible that season, rewriting the Buckeyes record books and setting a new standard for quarterback play at Ohio State. So Tim and Urban certainly had plenty of stories to share about Haskins career, his life and his personality that made him so special inside the Ohio State program.

Tim is also joined by Lettermen Row senior writer Austin Ward to further discuss the importance of Haskins at Ohio State and what he meant to the Buckeyes. The two long-time writers who cover the Buckeyes swap stories about Haskins and his phenomenal 2018 season.

With the spring game on deck for this weekend, the guys also break down what they expect to see on Saturday in the Horseshoe as spring practice winds down in Columbus and the Buckeyes work their way into summer workouts.

That conversations with Tim, Urban and Austin make this edition of The Tim May Podcast a must-listen episode. And it’s not just an Ohio State football discussion this week. It’s an important talk about the life of a Buckeyes legend.

You will not want to miss that and plenty more Buckeyes news and analysis from the past and in another edition of the Tim May Podcast as spring practice marches on and Pro Day reaches a conclusion.
