COLUMBUS — Ohio State opened its fall camp on Thursday, August 4 and the program heads into the year with higher expectations than ever.

It’s a considerably good problem when going 11-2 and winning the Rose Bowl is considered a down year, but that’s where the Buckeyes find themselves heading into 2022. They return a large bulk of their talent including quarterback C.J. Stroud, running backs TreVeyon Henderson and Miyan Williams, and wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba to name a few on the offensive end.

Ohio State faces plenty of questions regarding its defense and it faces a big test against Notre Dame in the season opener on September 3.

Lettermen Row has full camp coverage from the last two days and is full-go into the two training days we’ve seen. Staffers Spencer Holbrook and Tim May have each written about their observations from both days and have recorded two post-practice videos.

Coach Ryan Day spoke on the first day of camp and running backs coach Tony Alford spoke on the second day. Running backs TreVeyon Henderson, Miyan Williams, Evan Pryor and Dallan Hayden were made available after practice.
