COLUMBUS — Ohio State continues to extend offers to its potential signal-callers of the future.

The Buckeyes offered 2026 Nashville (Tenn) Christian School quarterback Jared Curtis late Thursday morning. Curtis announced his offer via Twitter.

The 6-foot-3, 197-pound quarterback holds nearly 20 offers with major programs like Alabama, Georgia, Notre Dame and Penn State already in the mix. The Crimson Tide appears to be the early favorite according to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine.

Alabama holds a 42.7 percent chance of landing the rising sophomore, largely because of his three visits to Tuscaloosa.

Curtis led the Eagles to a 10-3 season last fall as a freshman. He threw for 2,285 yards with 27 touchdowns and eight interceptions while completing just under 60 percent of his passes. Curtis also accounted for seven rushing touchdowns on 61 carries for 481 yards.

He is the second quarterback this week to earn an Ohio State offer. The Buckeyes offered 2025 four-star Bellefontaine (Ohio) quarterback Tavien St. Clair on Wednesday.

Curtis is also the second quarterback in the 2026 cycle that holds an offer from the Buckeyes. Carrollton (Ga) signal-caller Julian Lewis was the first that earned an offer from the Buckeyes.

Ohio State Quarterback Direction

Ohio State has gone on a pretty historic run of landing elite quarterbacks and then developing them into next-level talents.

Under head coach Ryan Day, the Buckeyes have sent Dwayne Haskins, Justin Fields and now C.J. Stroud.

Day has been at Ohio State since 2017 and guided former Buckeye quarterback J.T. Barrett to historic highs as well.

The recruiting trail has been kind to the Buckeyes with Day and quarterbacks coach Corey Dennis. From Day’s first year to the 2023 cycle, Ohio State has signed the following quarterbacks: Matthew Baldwin, Justin Fields, CJ Stroud, Jack Miller, Quinn Ewers, Kyle McCord, Devin Brown and Lincoln Kienholz.
