June means visits, offers and one-day camps for Ohio State at the Woody Hayes Athletic Center. The Buckeyes have a busy week ahead on the recruiting trail, hosting players from across the country for camps, unofficial visits and official visits throughout the week. Lettermen Row is breaking down recruiting tidbits to give you everything you need to know about the chaos that is Buckeyes recruiting.

COLUMBUS — After its final one-day summer camp of 2022 on Tuesday, Ohio State extended offers to a trio of rising prospects.

Buckeyes offer talented 2024 athlete Kylan Fox

Kylan Fox is a four-star tight end ranked No. 151 nationally in the 2024 On3 Consensus and is one of the nation’s best tight ends. He can play on both sides of the ball and earned an offer from the Buckeyes after speaking with head coach Ryan Day, offensive coordinator and tight ends coach Kevin Wilson and defensive line coach Larry Johnson on Tuesday.

“It means a lot,” Fox told Lettermen Row. “A big time program with big time coaches.

“I talked with Coach Day, Coach Johnson and Coach Wilson. They all pretty much offered me. They liked my hands and feet and ability to play both sides of the ball at a high level.”

Fox has 41 offers to play college football, including offers from LSU, Texas and Michigan in addition to Ohio State.

The 6-foot-4.5-inch, 205-pounder has been busy in 2022, taking visits across the country to a number of Power 5 programs. In the month of June, Fox has visited Ohio State, Georgia, North Carolina State, Clemson, Louisville, Kentucky and Alabama.

Fox said that Ohio State is high on his list and that he plans to visit Columbus again in the fall.

Miles Lockhart, Colin Hurley pick up Ohio State offers

Miles Lockhart is a three-star cornerback out of Chandler Basha (Ariz.) and worked out in front of the Buckeyes coaching staff on Tuesday. Ohio State offered the rising defensive back afterward, adding the Buckeyes to his list of Pac-12-heavy offers. Lockhart has visited BYU and Utah this month in addition to Ohio State.

The Buckeyes also offered 2025 Jacksonville Trinity Christian Academy (Fla.) quarterback Colin Hurley. Hurley had the opportunity to work closely with Ohio State head coach Ryan Day on Tuesday, joining 2024 quarterback commit Dylan Raiola.

Hurley told Lettermen Row that his visit was “amazing” and was impressed by Day’s knowledge of the quarterback position.

“I thought I did very well,” Hurley said on Tuesday. “There’s good competition out there as well. I learned a lot of new stuff from Coach Day out there. He taught me a lot of new things that I haven’t done before at my school.”
