COLUMBUS — It only took one spring visit with a fresh offer for Ohio State to land its next commit in the 2024 class: Marc Nave is going to be a Buckeye.

Nave, a three-star Toledo (Ohio) Central Catholic interior offensive lineman, chose Ohio State over Cincinnati, Kentucky, Auburn and others.

He is the No. 33 interior offensive lineman and No. 502 nationally-ranked prospect according to the On3 Industry Rankings.

Marc Nave was on campus for the Buckeyes’ opening spring practice after he announced his offer back in January.

He spoke with Lettermen Row before the visit about what it means to be considered by Ohio State.

“I’ve grown up a Buckeyes’ fan, me and my family are all true Buckeyes fans,” Nave said. “It was a really big deal to get offered.”

Nave is the second offensive lineman committed to the Buckeyes 2024 class. He now joins four-star New Palestine (Ind.) interior offensive lineman Ian Moore as part of the offensive line class. Five-star Hollywood (Fla) Chaminade-Madonna Prep wide receiver Jeremiah Smith rounds out the offensive side of the ball for the Buckeyes’ 2024 class.

Four-star Sunbury (Ohio) Big Walnut linebacker Garrett Stover remains the lone defensive commit to Ohio State and its 2024 class, but that is expected to change this spring.

Ohio State holds the No. 3 2024 class according to the On3 Industry Ranking Football Team Recruiting numbers. The Buckeyes only trail Georgia and Alabama. The Buckeyes sit atop the Big Ten with a commanding lead in the rankings as well.

Lettermen Row will have more on Nave, what it means for the Buckeyes and what’s next for Ohio State throughout the day.

For now, however, three-star interior offensive lineman Marc Nave commits to his childhood dream team, the Ohio State Buckeyes.

Make sure to follow Lettermen Row for more news on Marc Nave’s decision to Ohio State throughout the following days.
