COLUMBUS — Ohio State signed another top-five recruiting class on Wednesday, and that standard won’t change any time soon.

The Buckeyes brought in 19 prospects into their 2023 class, which checks in as the fifth-best class in the cycle by On3.

Ohio State coach Ryan Day, in his first opportunity to talk about the committed prospects by name, took to the podium inside the team meeting room at the Woody Hayes Athletic Center Wednesday afternoon and offered his thoughts on the class and the state of recruiting as a whole.

“When you look at the quality of the people that we’re bringing in, I think that’s the focus for us right now,” Day said. “I think that has to be for us right now, maybe not so much on who we don’t get, but who we’re bringing into the program.

Lettermen Row staffers Matt Parker and Tim May broke down the Buckeyes class and analyzed a few of the comments that Day during his press conference.

Ohio State signed its prospects but is also navigating the transfer portal all the while trying to prepare for Georgia in the College Football Playoff semifinal that’s just a few days from now.

So check out the latest Rapid Reaction from Lettermen Row as the Buckeyes have signed yet again another solid recruiting class.
