Ohio State commits continue postseason success

COLUMBUS — The future of the Ohio State program continues to be in good hands.

The Buckeyes had several commits compete for four quarters on Friday night, and then turned around and visited Ohio State the next day.

Lettermen Row will have more on the visits throughout the week, but first, let’s quickly break down all of the commits that were in action this week.

Dylan Raiola

2024 five-star Chandler (Ariz.) quarterback Dylan Raiola defeated Peoria (Ariz.) Centennial 47-27 in the first round of the Arizona High School Playoffs.

The future Ohio State signal-caller went 25-36 for 267 yards, three touchdowns and one interception.

Brandon Inniss

Consensus five-star Miami Gardens (Fla) American Heritage wide receiver Brandon Inniss defeated Fort Lauderdale (Fla) Cardinal Gibbons in the third round of the Florida High School Playoffs.

The future Ohio State wideout was dynamic as ever for the Patriots. Inniss had two catches for 52 yards and two rushes for 27 yards.

Noah Rogers

Five-star Rolesville (N.C.) wide receiver Noah Rogers lost 70-34 to New Bern (N.C.) in the fourth round of the North Carolina High School Playoffs.

Rogers ends his career with 3,000-plus receiving yards and over 50 touchdowns.

Jelani Thurman

Four-star Fairburn (Ga) Langston Hughes tight end Jelani Thurman defeated College Park (Ga) Woodward Academy 56-28 in the third round of the Georgia High School Playoffs.

Thurman continued his impressive senior season on Friday with two catches for 10 yards and one touchdown.

Kayden McDonald

Consensus four-star Suwanee (Ga) North Gwinnett defensive lineman Kayden McDonald lost 52-17 to Norman Park (Ga) Colquitt County in the third round of the Georgia High School Playoffs.

Arvell Reese

Four-star Cleveland (Ohio) Glenville linebacker Arvell Reese defeated Jefferson (Ohio) Jefferson Area 52-7 Saturday in the Division IV state semifinal.

Reese and the Tarblooders will play Cincinnati (Ohio) Wyoming for the Division IV state championship on Saturday.

Calvin Simpson-Hunt

Four-star Waxahachie (Texas) cornerback Calvin Simpson-Hunt lost 10-7 to Houston (Texas) Westfield.

Kayin Lee

Four-star Ellenwood (Ga) cornerback Kayin Lee defeated Savannah (Ga) Calvary Day 30-0 in the third round of the Georgia High School Playoffs.

Cedrick Hawkins

Four-star Titusville (Ga) Cocoa safety Cedrick Hawkins defeated Bushnell (Fla) South Sumter 35-7 in the third round of the Florida High School Playoffs.

Hawkins had seven tackles in the win, but his offensive stats stand out. The No. 22 safety per On3 recorded five receptions for 138 yards and one touchdown in the win.
