ATLANTA — Because of the way coordinators diagram plays and scheme up opponents, they're often compared to chess players: In both cases, you have to think two, maybe even three or four moves ahead. Ohio State defensive coordinator Jim Knowles — known for the complexity of his defenses — was asked about the metaphor Wednesday during Peach Bowl media availability.
